THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF TOGHU

The  Bhutanese nationwide costume was codified around four hundred years back within the  17th century, during the reign of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. He released a nationwide costume to promote a unified identity for all of Bhutan.  In 1989, a law was passed that required all Bhutanese to wear the national dress for Skilled and government posit
